Snowed In
Mother nature walloped us again with another snow storm. This is our third storm for the month of February and we’ve had over four feet of snow this month–shattering all records for the Philadelphia area (for those of you keeping track, we’re up to over 78 inches for the winter–30 inches ahead of Chicago and Denver and nearly 15 inches ahead of Buffalo, NY). When I woke up this morning, I was greeted with the sight of this massive snow drift blocking my front door. It was nearly 3 feet high. I had to have someone shovel me out before I could get out my front door.
As much as I’d like to say this can’t go on since it’s almost March, we’ve got another snow storm in the forecast for the middle of next week. Next year, I say we shoot the furry rodent before it can poke its head out to see its shadow on Groundhog’s Day. Then, maybe next February, we won’t spend it buried under 4+ feet of snow.

- What in the Hell Is Wrong With New Jersey? Yes, a rather broad question for which the answer probably is “a lot”. But, after a rather hellish morning commute due to only a couple inches of snow, I’m left with a burning question: Does the State of New Jersey own either a snow plow or salt truck? And if...
