Spring Blossoms

Mother nature gave us a beautiful first day of spring–sunny, blue skies, 72 degrees. The tree in my backyard has begun to flower and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Birds are flying about and the wind chimes are tinkling on the gentle breeze that floats in through my sliding door.

Considering the wretched winter we had, I think we’re long over due for a some nice weather. It’s only mid-March, so I know it won’t last. But, the blossoming tree in my yard makes me hopeful that we’ve finally snatched ourselves from the jaws winter.

    Wow, another beautiful picture Kim. I have a lot of beautiful trees in my yard, but I have yet to catch them in a picture like you did.
